Danae Fanjoy, LPC

I believe that life is meant to be lived to the fullest, with joy, peace, and a sense of meaning as its defining features. Sometimes, the challenges we face can make these sentiments feel out of reach and leave us feeling empty or lost.

After graduating from the University of Valley Forge in 2009 with a degree in Pastoral Counseling, I went on to receive my Master’s in Counseling Psychology. I started out in the field working with individuals who were battling eating disorders. During this time, I facilitated groups and individual sessions with both adolescent and adult females. I then moved into the drug and alcohol field, working in both residential and outpatient settings. Working in these environments gave me exposure to a variety of co-occurring mental health concerns.

I enjoy working with all age groups from all walks of life. I am a certified trauma therapist and have also worked with many clients suffering from anxiety, depression, eating disorders, codependency, and grief. I have worked with couples and families to help strengthen their communication and deepen their relationships with each other. I value the holistic nature of human beings and believe it’s important to integrate this concept into my work. I utilize CBT, IFS, DBT and person-centered approaches. I also provide Christian counseling if desired.

Life can be beautiful and wholeness is possible. I would love to walk along side of you and support you on your journey to healing!
