Everyday I try to make a difference and I try to be aware of the impact that my behavior and actions can have on those around me. Big or small, I get to choose what and who gets my energy each day. Everyone needs someone in their corner and I have found that if someone has just one person who believes in them, they can find the power they need to make a positive turning point in their lives. I strive to be that person for others and I hope that my support can make a difference.

In 2017, I graduated from Kutztown University with my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and minors in psychology and forensic science. I received my master's
degree in Social Work in 2022. It brings me joy to establish a trusting working relationship with the clients I serve, assisting them in their healing journey so they can become their best selves and be proud of who they see in the mirror every morning. As your therapist, I will help you hold yourself accountable to your actions, but also teach you how to give yourself grace when you make mistakes so you can learn and grow through them.

For several years I have been working in the world of addictions and mental health, working first hand with first responders, military, law enforcement and those recovering from traumatic events or circumstances. I have also worked with those struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief and loss, and those experiencing difficulty managing feelings of anger and stress. I began my career as a contractor for the military, assisting soldiers and their family members in finding treatment and providing education on substance abuse and suicide prevention. I found my connection with this demographic to be organic as I am a prior service member and military spouse and could relate to the struggles they shared. This is where I found my passion for working in the field of addictions. For the last few years, I have worked in an inpatient dual diagnosis treatment center where I provided therapy to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse diagnoses. My experiences working in an inpatient facility provided the opportunity for me to facilitate group and individual therapy which I enjoyed as it allowed me to explore many treatment techniques and therapeutic approaches.

Your opinion and your voice matter because this is your journey, so as your therapist, I will work with you by using a client-centered approach in order to co-create a plan that guides the direction of your therapy while you receive the support, empathy, and counsel you need to be successful.

Are you ready to begin the process of finding accountability, regaining control, and creating the life you want to live? Let me help you!
