Jessie Kessler, PsyD
I received my doctorate in school psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017. I started my professional career, working one on one with children who required behavioral support. I have worked at various levels in local organizations such as New Story and Devereux. In addition to offering outpatient services at Furnace Creek Counseling, I presently work full-time for Reading School District as a school psychologist.
As a licensed psychologist, licensed behavior specialist, and nationally certified school psychologist, I work with clients ranging from age 5 to older adults. I utilize individual and family therapy modalities that integrate components of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and applied behavior analysis. I strive to help clients establish a balanced lifestyle and incorporate a holistic view of mental health. My areas of expertise include treatment of autism spectrum disorders, LGBT+ populations, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, anxiety, and depression as well as stress management and executive functioning support. I also possess extensive knowledge regarding educational supports, including special education services and 504 plans.
In my spare time, you can find me enjoying a yoga class, hiking a new trail, experimenting in the kitchen, or enjoying time with loved ones.
